Steve Markley

Project Executive

Steve joins TCG as a Project Executive. He brings with him over 40 years of construction experience in Estimating, Pre-Construction, and Client Relations.

Prior to joining TCG he was the Vice President of Pre-Construction for Hunter Roberts. There he was responsible for leading the planning, estimating, value engineering, LEED certification studies, expediting and life cycle costing of all architectural, structural, civil, and other specialty systems. Steve had overall accountability for all estimates and bids produced by the department. He was also responsible for development and maintenance of client relations throughout the pre-construction process; department procedures and software; and benchmarking a database for all market sectors. Steve’s most notable projects include 1911 Walnut (the Laurel), 1213 Walnut, and the Summit at Drexel University along with numerous projects at the University of Pennsylvania which included a 60,000 SF addition for the Wharton School.

For 10 years prior to Hunter Roberts, Steve held a position of Estimating Team Leader at L. F. Driscoll Co.

He has worked successfully on many challenging projects and is known in the industry as a problem solver. His knowledge and expertise allow him to provide leadership, advisement, and vision to clients throughout the planning and pre-construction phases of a project. Projects included complete preconstruction of Citizens Bank Park and the Center for Advanced Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and is licensed as a Professional Engineer.
